Zhangjiajie & Three Gorges China - Day 8

Day 8, we completed our voyage down the Yangtze River. We disembarked at Chongqing.

Chongqing is a hilly city.
We visited the Chongqing Three Gorges Museum. The weather was hot!

Chongqing is under fast development. There are many highrise buildings.

Look. another unique 'installation'!

Lunch was great. It was porridge with all kinds of seafood. Something we can easily cook at home!

We visited a famous street after lunch (Huh, I forgot the name of the street!) See, a man making nut candy outside his shop!

More food for sale!

This is very familiar. Something we can find in Singapore and Malaysia. But they have all kinds of favour such as spicy ones!

Nuts fried with chilli??!!

See how crowded! And many people are spitting everywhere?!!! I have to fix my eyes on the road to avoid stepping on a sputum.

Indian Roti shop but was is the durian doing there?

Perfume filling station??? How?

Cutting biscuits/local snack!

Finally, a sumptuous steamboat dinner for our happy bellies!

We flew home the next day...just spending most of the time in the air!
