EARTH DAY - 26 March 2011

Since mankind sinned, our earth is polluted. Now, a small group of people has realised how important it is too keep our earth pollution free. However, greed and sometimes necessity have prevented Earth from going back to how it was when it was created. On 26 March, a handful of people around the globe celebrated EARTH DAY. This was also to bring awareness to more people....... to love our mother EARTH more and spare her from deteriorating further. On the same evening, my husband and I brought my father and my father-in-law to the Sky Garden of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. It was breath-taking! My father has wanted to go there before. Now finally, we managed to make it up there on the special day. Below is the model of the Marina Bay Sands Hotels, on top of it is the Sky Garden. It looks like Noah's Ark has landed on the three building. (see first picture below) Next picture below, was the view taken from the Sky Garden. It was about 9pm. Singapore was supposed to be pitch dark as many should have participated in the one hour light out to celebrate EARTH DAY. However, we still have a bright breath-taking view.
